Commendium in the Community

Commendium strives to be a responsible and active member of its community. We under take this in several ways:

• We have a strong environmental policy which seeks to minimise our impact on the environment.
• We recruit staff locally, under an equal opportunity policy that complies with current legislation.
• The CEO, Richard Walters, regularly participates in county economic programs run by the NWDA, various agencies, the county council and the DTI.
• We are sponsors of the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School bid to the DfES for specialist status in computing and mathematics. This has been successful.
• We support the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School Young Enterprise project.
• We shall be taking two work placements for students looking for careers in mathematics.

Commendium reviews its community services regularly and targets its efforts to where it can be most effective.
