eCommerce

There is no alternative – all companies will have to adopt ecommerce tools and services to be able to trade successfully in the future, and by “future” we mean the next couple of years.

Here in Cumbria, for example, three of the largest sources of business activity, BNFL, the NHS and Local Government will all be trading almost solely by ecommerce within the next 18 months.

If your company fails to embrace ecommerce, you will be overtaken by your competitor’s who are already doing so, this is a simple fact of business life these days.

While some companies in their field may offer you an easy solution, we are aware that ecommerce can be tricky to implement and should be approached with care.

There are many aspects to implementing ecommerce solutions including the following essential aspects:

  • Sales – direct selling, tendering for work and marketing
  • Purchasing – finding cost effective suppliers for your business
  • Regulatory compliance – to legal, taxation and VAT processes
  • Support services – on line banking, HR and legal matters.

There are solutions to address all of these aspects, but care is needed to navigate through, what can appear to be a maze of alternatives, on offer in this field. Commendium are here to help you do this.

The approach we take involves:

  • Documenting all aspects of the work required.
  • Prioritising the work into a structured and achievable program.
  • Notifying and ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the strategy and how it will affect them.
  • Planning the course and pace of the program.

Let’s get started.
