Our Approach

Our approach differs quite markedly from that of our competitors. We are aware that the typical image of consultants can be summed up as “They walk in, look at the clock on the wall, and tell you the time”. Many companies have also gained the reputation of being interested only in generating new business and not in providing practicable solutions.

This is not our approach.

As a starting point we are prepared to offer fixed cost tenders for projects. It is our belief that our role is to facilitate the growth of your business and not to exploit your company; therefore we will undertake to fulfil contracts to an agreed cost.

We will always provide you with the most accurate and truthful assessment based on the facts available to us. We accept that this may not be palatable at times but honesty between us will result in a better end product for you.

A further difference is that we will ensure that we fully understand your business goals and maintain a tight relationship between our work and these goals. It is our experience that difficulties often arise because projects fail to maintain a focus on the overall business goals. All projects must demonstrate how they contribute to the overall business strategy.

Our approach has also influenced the character and type of person Commendium employs. Our staff are drawn from a wide variety of business backgrounds and whilst we possess considerable ICT expertise, our consultants are also people with real business experience.

We are fully confident of our ability to provide viable and cost effective solutions to your company and therefore we will not expect payment if we fail to deliver the project to your satisfaction.
